Krásenský Hill Lookout Tower – 777 m above sea level

The Krásenský Hill Lookout Tower is a 25-metre-high stone tower with a characteristic spiral, right-handed staircase with 120 stairs. The project of the lookout tower was created by the sculptor Willy Russ (1887 – 1974) and construction technician Fritz Hoffmann. The lookout tower ceremoniously opened on 23 June 1935. Today, it is one of the most romantic and prettiest lookout towers in the Czech Republic. It provides an unobstructed view of the Slavkovský Forest, the Teplá Highlands, the Ore Mountains, and the Doupovské Mountains. The stone gallery on top is outfitted with scenic signs. Since 1958, the lookout tower has been inscribed on the list of Czech cultural monuments.
