Klínovec Lookout Tower – 1,244 m above sea level

This octagonal masoned lookout tower was built in 1883-84 as the fifth building in a row on this site. During the years, the building served the army along with the neighbouring chalet, and it gradually fell into disrepair. However, in 2009, the buildings changed owners, and were gradually thoroughly reconstructed. The lookout tower reopened in 2013. After ascending 75 stairs to a height of 14 metres, you will see a panoramic view far away to the Lusatian Mountains and Doupovské Mountains, the Czech Central Mountains, or the Bohemian Forest.
