From Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Cheb, head out on the blue hiking trail towards Háje to the crossroads beyond the town. Here, take a left on Cycling Route No. No. 36 to the intersection at Malá Všeboř, and from there on Cycling Route No. 2056 via Starý Hrozňatov to the border crossing of Starý Hrozňatov – Mammersreuth. From the border, continue straight through Mammersreuth on the side road leading through the forest, and ride downhill to the edge of Waldsassen. Here, turn left to the edge of town, right over the bridge, and then right again to the town centre. After seeing the sights of the town, return on the same route and continue on the asphalt road straight to the farmsteads, passing the fishponds. Here, take a right onto the cycling route labelled as the Wallenstein Cycling Route, which will take you to the border crossing at Egerteich – Slapany. From here, take Cycling Route No. 204 to the crossroads at Háje, and then back on the already known blue hiking trail to the square.
