The Church of St Wenceslas with the Dominican Monastery

In 1294, King Wenceslas II granted the Dominicans the right to establish a monastery in Cheb. It was constructed along with the church in the years 1294 – 1296.

In 1684, the construction of the present-day Baroque church was completed. However, the former orientation of the church was changed, and since then, the entrance has been located on Kamenná Street. The monastery, adjacent to the church from the north side, was not completed until 1720. The church is publicly accessible only during regular mass.
