Our Tips for Children

We keep both the littlest ones, as well as those that are somewhat older, in mind. You will find many places in Cheb that are ideal for young and older children, where they will be entertained and can enjoy sports and cultural activities. Krajinka Sports and Recreation Grounds

On the grounds, you will find:
  • A high-ropes centre
  • Sports grounds with many fields and courts (for basketball, table tennis, volleyball, foot tennis, and other sports)
  • Krajinka Café Bar – a café and confectionist’s with a play area and indoor and outdoor seating
  • A playground and a water attractions area
  • A workout area for the elderly
  • A workout court for adult bodybuilders
  • A small mini zoo in the Children’s Recreation Building
  • Beyond the jetty, there is a labyrinth, a view of the dam, and at the end of the jetty, there is the Cheb Watchtower Viewing Gazebo
  • If you continue a short distance (along the red hiking trail) beyond this gazebo,
    you can see the small mini zoo located by Stein Hotel.

Krajinka: The sports and recreation grounds on the banks of the Ohře River

This tourist, relaxation, and sports area is found on both banks of the Ohře River under Cheb Castle. The excursion boulevard is hemmed by playgrounds and a cycling path, and you will also find a mini-golf course, water attractions for children, an outdoor sports field, a cross track, a pétanque terrain, table tennis, streetball, a high-ropes centre, a picnic meadow with several grills, a lookout tower near Vávra Footbridge, a barefoot path, and two restaurants with summer terraces.
