The lookout tower, along with the nearby hiking chalet, was built by the hiker\u2019s association in 1904. After World War II, however, the chalet became privately owned, and since then, it has not been accessible to the public, neither the tower. The twenty-metre tower is crowned by a gallery with battlements and an unusual side tower.
